my accountant doesn't use Reckon hosted, so not sure how he is meant to look at my company file??

    Hi Holysmoked,

    You could give them your login details so they can access your data. You can't access it at the same time though.

    Or you can just ask them what reports they need and print it off for them (or export to Excel).

    Also ask your accountant if they are a Reckon Professional Partner as this entitles them to free access to Reckon Accounts Hosted (as well as other products in the personal and business suite).

    Hi Sally.  Really?  Is this all Reckon offers.  I have 5 company account files and heaps of downloaded files and excel reports so they will be able to access everything.  It seems ridiculous.

    Rod,

    What do you expect Reckon to be able to do for you, if your accountant does not have the same software that you are using?

    Have your accountant sign-up for their own Hosted account and you can share with them just the exact company file you want them to access.

    Or go to an accountant who does make use of Hosted.
