Why does my BAS come up with the wrong date in the taxes and amounts held tab?

    Hi Chris, if I'm understanding you correctly, to change the date you need to click on 'config' and change the reporting period from there.

    Thanks for the reply Ashley.  when I 'config' the correct date shows on the first page but in the next tab - taxes and amounts- the date shows as 01.10.14 - 30.12.14  any suggestions?

    Hi Chris, Had a look and have the same thing! Am thinking that perhaps this is because the version we are using does not include 'Payroll and Employee Management' so the Simplified Bas will not pick up any PAYG entries. I think that you can however enter these manually in W1 2 3 & 4 and  T7 8 & 9 which will be picked up in the Debts and Credits tab.
    Would be interested to get your thoughts.

    Hi Ashley. This is only the 2nd bas I have done on this program so not really sure. I think you are correct about the payroll but I think it is only the w1 that does not pick up as it has worked on my previous bas. Just remembering the last bas I did was on a trial download (same version) do you think this could make a difference?

    Hello Chris and Ashley,

    The dates for the first 2 pages of the BAS are controlled separately, so in the 'config' tab you need to set the date for the 3 tabs:
