Data lost after reconciling in QuickBooks/Accounts Business

    Hi Robyn,

    Thank you for your question.

    Is it the transactions that you are reconciling disappearing for that bank account, or all the transactions in that bank account are disappearing?

    Reconciling should not contribute to any data loss.

    Does this issue only occur in one data file, or all data files.

    If this issue only happens in one company data file, there may be data corruption.
     
    You can try performing verify and rebuild to check for data damage.

    Verifying checks for data integrity. Rebuilding fixes data corruption and refreshes/defrags the data.

    That is,

    File -> Utilities -> Verify
    File -> Utilities -> Rebuild
