NCG has become an 'invalid tax code' for purchases

Hi Guys,
NCG - GST inclusive non-capital items Purchased/Acquired (10%) has become an invalid tax code for purchases in my Reckon One - the option is available for selection in the Items and Chart of accounts, but the it clears from the dropdown option and/or brings up an 'invalid tax code' message when I try it.
The only reason why I think it could have changed is that I recently configured the BASS area of reckon, but I've tried reverting all settings and I'm still having the same problem.
Can anyone please help?
