Need a customer report detailing addresses, and LAST TRADED DATE

I am looking to export customer data out to a despatching software system, and need a list of customers, delivery address, email addr, and most importantly, the date they last traded.  This date will help me filter out all non-trading customers so as not to export out of Reckon Hosted, and into my courier company software.

Hi Peter.  It is possible to run a report which just about meets all of your criteria.  Unfortunately there is no specific selection available, that I am aware of, for the one which details "last traded".  The alternative is to run the report, select a period of time and it can list every invoice issued, in customer order, together with all of the other info.  Not sure if it can provide the delivery address.  John L G

Following on from John, perhaps you can try making the non-trading customers inactive before running the report?

Or, you can manually create and select customer types and then filter these in the report.

    I hope this helps!!

    Shannon.

Good idea Shannon.  I guess the problem that Peter faces is how to determine if they are active or not.  I have an idea for that one.  Go to Reports> Sales> Sales by Customer Summary.  Set the reporting period by however long you want e.g. from 1/1/2010 to now, and then under the Columns Tab at the top of the page, instead of Total, select Year from the drop down box.  From the resultant report you will be readily able to determine the year of last activity.  John L G

John,  first you tell me there is a report that meets all my criteria.  Then you go on to say i cannot get what i need in terms of last traded.  So what you are saying is that there is not a report i can use to meet my needs - correct.

Reckon-  WAKE UP - let's make reporting useful, not a chore.  I do not want a task to take up two weeks to put together.

Fair go Peter.  I responded to your question 9 months ago.  However I did NOT state that there is a report that meets ALL of your criteria.  I did however, state that it was possible to get a report which meets most of your criteria.  Subsequent suggestions by Shannon and me suggested other options that could help you.  Obviously they did not. But don't take it out on us members of the Community for trying to help you.
