no printer to be selected after installing windows10

Hello .I recently installed windows 10 on my laptop. I am now trying to print payment summaries. My printer cannot be selected , however I do see a msg which says: To install additional printers use the Windows Control Panel. My printer is installed and set as default printer but reckon accounts hosted doesnt seem to pick it up. What can I do ? Thank you,Phil
