The Share Price Download service experienced difficulties on the 20th and 21st of November and in the process of restoring the service, the data files for those days were lost.

Reckon apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

We have been able to restore some data for these days – the Closing Price.  Please follow the steps below to import this data into your Reckon Accounts Personal database.

Follow these steps:
Before you start we suggest you backup your datafile:  File > Backup

Download the share price data for these days from:
http://library.reckon.com.au/library/csv/SharePriceData_21Nov2014.csv
http://library.reckon.com.au/library/csv/SharePriceData_20Nov2014.csv
and save them to your Desktop.

Open Reckon Accounts Personal and import these files:
Investing > Portfolio > File > File Import > Import Prices

In the Import Price Data window, in the File field, enter the full path of the first share price data file: For example:   Desktop\SharePriceData_20Nov2014.csv

In the Date field, enter the first date:  20/11/2014.

Click OK to import the share prices

Repeat steps 3 to 6 to import the second day.

Your datafile is now updated with the Closing Prices for the 2 missed days.

If you require High and Low prices and volume for these days you will need to access other sources for this information, such as your Broker, Reckon HUBB Investor, the Business section of the newspaper or sites like eoddata.

To edit the data for a share:
  1. Right-click the share and select Price History
  2. Highlight the date (eg: 20/11/2014) and click on Edit
  3. In the Edit box add the High, Low and Volume data
  4. Click OK to save.
