Not responding Message Appearing

Hi I am using the Reckon accounts plus 13. It has been displaying the not responding message when reconciling accounts for a while,but after shutting the program down and then going back in the accounts had been reconciled. Today it would not respond to verify data when trying to do a back up, so I backed up with no verification. I hope this is easily fixed.

This behaviour can result from a number of factors like and can display in a number of ways, like:

  • QuickBooks freezes when you try to reconcile accountsQuickBooks is not responding
  • Print Driver Host for 32-bit Applications has Stopped Working
  • There is a problem connecting to your currently selected printer, Microsoft XPS Document writer on XPS port....
  • Could not print to printer
  • Error: QuickBooks can't complete the current action due to a missing component
  • The device is not ready
:A quick solution is to have the PDF converter set to its own printer port.  Full directions for this task, and other workarounds, are available at: Accounts Business / QuickBooks hangs when click Reconcile Now.
