Hi kiethinoz,

Thanks for asking the Reckon community.

Normal Restore function will restore it - File > Restore Backup file

John

Hi Peter,
A .rkn file is a compressed backup file with our Personal Range products (only); Personal Plus and Home & Business.

This is not available in the Business Range which your edition is part of. The Reckon Accounts Business range has its own backup processes and yes as you've mentioned uses QBW or QBB (backup file format) files.

Have you had a Personal Range product before and is there any reason that you're trying to open it in your current product?
