Opened POs dated in closed month, how do make changes to these open POs?

We have been struggling with open POs dated prior to the closed month - no one can amend the PO if it is dated in the months which were closed, but the PO is still open.  We do not prefer to give password to the team for reopening the month.  What's the best way to get around it?

    Hi Gloria

You can edit each User’s permission to be able to:

    • Edit & delete transactions (only in areas they already have access to)

    including also having

    • Ability to change or delete transactions recorded before the closing date

Unfortunately, you have to allow the first option in order to also allow the 2nd so I would recommend generating & memorising the Audit Trail report & checking it regularly to ensure any posting transactions aren’t inadvertently changed.

This is accessed under the “Company” dropdown menu > Set Up Users

(NB – Only “Admin” User can add/edit/delete User permissions)
