Other 1 and Other 2

Hi, I use Reckon Accounts Enterprise and Hosted.  I have a couple of staff that are now accruing LSL but I already use Other 1 and 2 for TIL and RDO.  Can you suggest another way of showing and calculating the accruals?  Is there a way of creating an 'Other 3'?

    I'd keep LSL right out of there. I use a spreadsheet to follow that. If you want I can send it to you. Email charley@vanrotterdam.com.au

    Hi Bev

     

    Unfortunately the 2 spare “Other” accrual tabs are the limit.

    I use one for LSL & - as long as it is setup correctly – I find it works perfectly well.

     

    Is there a reason why you’re tracking TiL & RDOs separately?   

    Unless there are specific differences in how/when the 2 are accrued &/or paid in your organisation, accrued TiL basically amounts to an RDO ….

    Hi Shaz, yes you're right, they're accrued the same way so I can combine the two.  I can rename it to TIL/RDO, combine them and free up an 'Other'.

    Many thanks Charley for your reply.  I use a spreadsheet to keep track already.  This is more about having it appear on the payslip.  I think I know what I will do though (in my answer below, thanks again)
