Hi, i am trying to understand what is driving invoices into a "other" subcategory on my p&l.
i have a income account called Consulting with a subcategory called "solution consulting" but on the p&L i an also getting a subcategory called "consulting-other", the invoices in this second subcategory all use the same item code as the subcategory "solution consulting" what is driving them to the subcategory consulting other?

Anytime something appears as a last line with -Other on the end - it means the transactions have gone into the Header account instead of the sub account. If you look at your item list - and add the column for Account (by right clicking somewhere on the header row of the list and choosing Customise Columns)... then you will be able to sort the list by Account and you will see which Items are connected to Consulting vs which items are connected to Consulting:solution consulting... when you find them - edit these items and choose the correct sub account and when you save, the transactions will fix themselves...2
