I am having trouble editing our pay slip pay period dates.
Does anyone know how to change the set up of pay period start, end and pay date?

    Hi Meiche,

Payroll Premier does not have a pay period start date. You can only enter a Pay Ending Date and Date Paid.

To edit this, double-click on an employee > click the 'History' tab > click the pay you want to edit > click Edit > tick the box 'Edit this pay'.

See below where you can edit these dates:

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Luke,

    Thank you for your help.

I am meaning to edit the 'default report' that the generates the payslips. I am not sure where to edit this in PP.

    Hi Meiche,

Where it says 'Dates' change this to 'Custom'. You can then choose a date range manually yourself.

Where can I edit the report that is being run when generating pay slips? Below is the section of the payslip that I need to update going forward.

    Hi Meiche,

Did an actual payslip generate for the screenshot above or was it just blank?

The system automatically sets a Pay Period Start date depending on the pay schedule.

E.g. if you do a weekly schedule and the Pay Period End was set to 14/07/2017 the program will automatically set the Pay Period Start date to 07/07/2017. It's not something you can enter into the program yourself or edit.

The payslip was a regular generated one with all the normal information. At the moment the start date does pop up in the generated payslip as 7 days prior to the period ending, however on the actual payslip that emails out (As above) the date is blank. I would rather it not be there or show the correct information, so employees don't get confused.
