Payroll Premier 2018/2019 Freezing and Exception Errors

We have been using Payroll Premier for years but have encountered a string of problems since installing the latest release 2018/2019. The installation went fine but as soon as we've clicked the Single Touch Payroll under reports the program goes Non-responsive (white screen). Sometime the system gets through and throws an exception error but generally the system just freezes. Generally this corrupts the data file and we have to restore the payroll data file to get back into the program. 
Windows 10 64 bit, 8 Gb RAM. All other programs work without fault.

We have the same issues - a lot of money spent on IT support to recover payroll files.

Also when I email the payslips the INB summary report comes up (very slowly....) and I am unable to email payslips to the employees
