Why do we have to pay for Payroll & STP End of Year Webinars? What do we actually get for the money we pay out already?

Agree - you would think paying a subscription o use their software would include instructions to events in which everyone must comply.
That they are charging for this information is not acceptable. They didn't charge for the Jobkeeper webinars so why this one? I hope this does not mean that they will not offer comprehensive support on the customer service help line on this issue as they are offering paid solutions? It has been hard enough over the last 12 months to get help and I am fed up with being referred to the Community Forum site as it seems to me that they are asking people like you and I to solve other peoples issues before they will get involved. I realise that often someone else may have experienced the same issues but I always wonder what would happen if advice given over this forum proved disasterous for someone else's business? I am not a qualified Reckon representative/expert so I am always uneasy at the thought of giving people advice that may not be appropriate for someone else or even the correct way of dealing with their issue from a compliance point of view.

We pay a subscription fee to use their Software which is supposed to include Technical Support etc but when you ring the technical support line they either don't know how to fix the problem, blame you for the issues or tell you to look in the forum. And if they don't like a posts that has been put up asking things like what do we get for our money they delete your post. STP has never worked the way it was supposed too. 1 year on & people still have issues with uploading files don't work or system is down etc. Like the issue with not being able to obtain Read Receipt when emailing Invoices etc to be informed for over 6 years now we are working on it & their best supporting answer is to email yourself then resend out of Outlook etc. So time consuming if you send 100 plus emails.

Totally agree. I was about to register until I noticed the $99 fee.  With businesses trying to cut back on costs because of the downturn in business due to CoVid, I think it's unacceptable to want us to pay for something they normally provide for free.

I'm also wondering why we have to pay extra for this Webinar. We already pay a substantial fee for our subscriptions.

    Hi folks,
I understand where the confusion is stemming from.

To clarify, this webinar is presented exclusively by Clayton Oates who is an industry expert, BAS Agent and Reckon Accredited Partner.
We're stoked and really grateful that Clayton has offered to share his knowledge of the do's and don'ts when it comes to end of financial year.

Clayton will provide a much deeper dive into EOFY processes along with providing specific tax/legislation advice which we, as Reckon, are unable to go into. For the Reckon Accounts session, Clayton will also provide you with an in-depth 40 page guide which will be a great resource for you.

To reiterate again, this is separate from our help resources & webinars and it goes without saying, we'll continue to provide product support to you during the end of financial year period.

We've had a huge number of registrations already to Clayton's webinar, and if you're able to, we'd highly recommend attending.

    Cheers,
    Rav
