Hi All - letting you know when you run the 'State Payroll Tax Summary [Base Amount]' report for FY 2016 it reports the FY 2017 threshold amount of $575K instead of $550K.
Possibly came across with the new tax tables?? Not sure....comments welcomed.
Cheers

Hi Tamara,
Thanks for the alert.
It sounds like you have applied the 2016 Tax Table Update (R2) which contains the changes to State Payroll Tax thresholds and rates - which contains a change for the Victorian threshold. Any Payroll Tax report you now run will use the current thresholds and rates, not any thresholds and rates that applied on the date of your date range.
You'll need to export the Payroll Tax report to excel and manually make changes to the threshold and recalculate the due tax.
regards,
John.
