payslips password protected

I am attempting to email payslips to employees, but the payslips are password protected. I have followed instructions on how to remove the password protection option (Go to the little cog in the top right hand corner, click settings, payroll settings, general. Untick that setting), but this has not worked payslips are still password protected. should I be looking somewhere else?

    Just a guess based on previous software I have used - if you are trying to print out payslips from before when password protection was turned on you may not be able to. Have you tried with a current payslip since unticking it?

    Hi Francesca,
    After unticking the option in Payroll Settings, did you hit 'Save & Close' or did you navigate away from the page after unticking?

    Try to check each 'Employees' under 'Contacts' if they have individual password. Thats what we did with each employee, they have their own password. We did set it up from from there.
