We have recently upgraded our Reckon Accounts to Reckon Hosted. Our Payroll officer was entered into Hosted as an Administrator and in Accounts he has access to all employee information. He was trying today to add a new employee for the first time since we have upgraded and all of a sudden he has no permission to enter the employees tax, bank or payment details. It says his permissions need to be upgraded. I checked them again on Accounts, all good, so upgraded him to 'Owner' status in Hosted, no change? Please note he has never had trouble with this permission before our upgrade to Hosted... Help?!

Yes, I have had the same thing happen to a client. The client logs in as herself but has full access to Hosted. When we logged in as the Administrator we were able to make the payroll changes but she should have been able to as she had full access to everything. Weird0

The permissions (access-levels) for usernames you use to login to the Hosted platform are separate to the permissions for a specific username that is logged in to a company data file.
How to tell the difference between my Reckon Accounts Hosted password and my company data file (QBW) password
Login to the company files as the Admin user.
Username = Admin
Password = <whatever your correct Admin user password is>
Look at the User List and check the access levels for the relevant username you need to investigate.
Click on the Company menu
Select Users
Select Set Up Users and Roles...
Locate the specific user and click Edit to review the roles and permissions set.

Thank you but I've already done this, the permissions were never changed and still remain the same as what they were before???0

Try:
a) Edit that specific user and remove all the payroll related permissions, save the changes, close the program. Re-open the program and add the permissions back in
b) Create a new user and add the relevant required permissions, confirm if this experiences the same problem
