Hello,

I am trying to use my Personal 2015 in a more advance way, tracking there not only AUS accounts, but also EURO accounts and on top of this tracking stock as well.

Whenever I press the "One Step Update" button, the system crush and each time reports a different error...

This is really a critical issue, because I cannot update Share prices!

any help/solution is much appreciated!

Thanks

    Hi Ivan,

I would like to check a few things about the issue.
You are trying to update the Currency List and Accounts crashes when you click 'One step update'.
    Is this correct?

There is a few things you can check and try.
Are you logged in to the computer as the administrator?
Were you logged in as the administrator when you install it?
You can try to turn off or disable your security programs like antivirus or firewall, before doing the 'One step update'.

    Thanks Deny,

    please look below my answers:

Are you logged in to the computer as the administrator? yes
Were you logged in as the administrator when you install it? yes
You can try to turn off or disable your security programs like antivirus or firewall, before doing the 'One step update'. - no difference, still error

just to add I have done more tests:

    - if I run the "One step update" and I select only "shares", no error
    - if I run the "One step update" and I select only "currency rates", it spin forever (dot stop)
    - if I run the "One step update" and I select both"currency rates" and :shares" the program crash and generate an error (each time a different code)

    any other suggestion?

really would like this to be fixed because I use multi-currency accounts...

    thanks all

An Update on "my testing": I manged to get Personal 2015 not "crash" by opening the application as "Admin" (right-click->Run as Administrator) and performing successfully the "One step update"...

somehow, even if I am an Administrator, I have to run Quicken as Administrator and everything work fine...

I notice that the same issue (Quicken crash) was for a transaction between accounts with difference currency... "run as admin" fix that issue too...

any suggestion? am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks

    Ivan
