Quickbooks Premier 2012-13
When post and transfer from POS to Quickbooks the posting occurs and then when the Transfer starts it  comes up with an error message  came up  that there were still files to be posted. When i try to post again  there are no files there!! Has been happening for the last 10 days and  i can't find a solution. It has meant the customer accounts and stock isn't been updated in the POS. Any suggestions?
Have tried the delete solution but there is only one pos unit.
Additionally when i close both down (POS and Admin)  and do another post it comes up with the number of files as the total number as if it hasn't processed any files - now 11. If i continue posting i know it will duplicate these files.

    Hi Rob
You have an item coded in some way that the system does not like.  To see this the PST file needs to be opened in excel and fixed.  What are are you in?  I think you may need to get a Trainer that specialised in POS to help you there.
    Cheers

    Wilma,
Thanks for your reply. I have been reading and searching and have found that two of the products (out of 2500!!) had somehow put " " around the product name. I re-worked a new item and then combined one but it it wouldnt do the same for the second one - so i had to leave it for awhile.
    Will try again latter.

Hey Rob, Sounds like a flag in the database from where you may have had another terminal or have had a different terminal name. 2 ways to fix this: 1) backup your keyboard layout, take note of all your setting and rename your qbpos.pdb file this will cause you to create a new one next time you start admin. Then restore all your settings. Note that transaction history will be wiped along with lay-bys and loyalty points. 2) a modification can be made to your database to make it work again but reckon can't do it, you would need a trainer that knows the sneaky things in pos like Robyn Ricket or Tim coop I think both know. I would do my self only I don't want to plaser my contact details on a forum. Regards, Chris
