POS Professional 2013 how do I customize the sales receipt

I want to include more lines in the product description shown on the sales receipt - at the moment only one line is shown and the information is truncated.

    Hi Nick,

    Just to clarify, are you referring to the printed receipt you hand to the customer?

    (There is functionality in Reckon Accounts called a Sales Receipt).

    Could you post a photo of the truncated information?

    Hi Nick,

    Thank-you for your email.

    Unfortunately you can only have one line associated per item on a receipt printed through a receipt printer.

    You can use the 'Print Invoice' functionality in the 'Transaction History' window, which should print the full description, however it does have the heading 'Trans. History' when you print it. You will need to enable a windows printer for the invoice in POS Options>Invoice Printer.

    You could staple the receipt to the "invoice", but you do need to provide both for the purposes of a Tax Invoice.

    Hi Nick,

    Thank-you for your follow up email, suggesting an extended character allowance as a new feature is a great suggestion.

    If you open Reckon Accounts, go to the Help drop down menu > Suggest New Feature.
