They arent going to make money with their current business model. Remember what happened to ERG? At some point in the upcoming economic downturn the sharemarket is going to run out of patience. Meantime they have Reckon and other players nipping at their heels. Its going to be fun to watch

Wonder if Reckon will be able to turn a profit once the gravy train aka the desktop product line, stops bringing in bucket loads of money!

Reckon One isn't profitable long term in its current pricing model.

What information do you have to make that claim?

Reckon is a publicly listed company, all this information is available in the shareholder reports. Maybe you should both have a read of them!

Plus it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the price difference in desktop products vs Reckon One.

Reckon One has ongoing aws fees aka higher overheads.

Money spent on desktop R&D is near zero compared to income from the range.

So where is the income going then?

Now.... What would happen if those desktop users get sick of getting nothing for the yearly subscription fees they pay and move elsewhere?

Will the Reckon One income be enough?

Interesting questions don't you think....

Why is there a suggestion that users 'get nothing for the yearly subscription fees' when they get to use the best (tax & super compliant) accounting product in the market with a pricing model consistent with how all software developers are structuring and financing their activities.

Don't get how your commentary adds value to this community...

Correct Kerry. Its a monumentally ignorant statement.
