Printing Format problems with Reckon Accounts Premium

I run Reckon Accounts 2016 (R2) on 4 computers (Win 7 64 bit).
Suddenly one does not print the formatting boxes, or Due Date and Terms info on a Tax Invoice.
All other computers are printing as expected.
I have tried different tax invoices templates, I have copied a working tax invoice template to the computer and still no boxes.
The Print Preview shows the correct formatting, but these do not print (on this one computer).
I have printed onto different printers, but still no format boxes.
I am now open to any suggestions....

Hi Warren.  This idea might sound a bit crazy and illogical, based on the fact that you are able to print ok from your other computers.  Try going to the Reckon printer icon on your desktop (not the one in your system tray etc).  Right click on the program icon and select Run As Administrator.  Then when the program opens, try printing again and see what happens.  This type of start-up approach worked in the early days of Windows 10 when there were issues and might be a fix for you.

    Hi John,

Sorry - the Reckon Printer icon on the Desktop?

Warren.  Sorry - the Reckon Program icon.  I did mention program further down - sorry to have confused you.

Sorry for being a bit pedantic - a force of nurture :-)
I'll give the log on as Administrator a try, once I can kick the current operator off the computer.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hi John,

Just logged on as Administrator.  Printed an Invoice, unfortunately it was just the same - no borders and other info.

I am fast running out of ideas Warren.  Have you tried printing to PDF to see if that works and if so you should then be able to print that off ok?  Not a satisfactory solution, but it might work as an interim measure.
Secondly, have you tried shutting down the computer and re-starting?  Sometimes this has a habit of fixing things too.

    Yep,
Tried printing to different printers, to PDF, and have shut down all computers.  Nothing has restored the correct formatting.
I'm trying to work out a way to test if the issue is Reckon related, or windows related.  I've checked for windows updates, but none had been installed around the time of this problem starting.
The Print Preview in Reckon shows all the correct formatting, so this starts to suggest the problem might be once Reckon sends the info to the Print Spooler in windows.  But all other things we have tried to print (from other programs) are all OK, so far it is only Reckon stuff which is a problem.

    Hi John,

I managed to resolve the border printing issue.

File>Printer Setup>Tax Invoice....  There is a tick box option to "Not print borders on fields"  somehow this had been ticked.
I un-ticked this and all borders and missing info returned.

    Thanks for your assistance.

Wow - as simple as that!!.  Good on you Warren for your persistence in solving the problem.  That no doubt gave you a great deal of satisfaction.
