QB Premier 2010/11 software Reconciliation problelm.

Each time I do a reconciliation, I click on Reconcile Now, there is the little blue circle going round and round as if doing something but it never does.   This has been happening for about 6-12 months, just started happening out of the blue. The only way to get a copy of my reconciliation (Summary and Detail pages) is to shut down QB, then reopen QB, go to previous reconciliation to get a copy of the one I have just done.  This is quite annoying and there is a risk of losing all the work just completed.  How can this be fixed.

Have you tried a rebuild of the data?

To rebuild the data file from the File menu > Utilities > Rebuild Data. Reckon Accounts will now search the file for errors and repair them etc.

This could be causing your issue.
