Hey Russell, 2012 > 2014 should be compatible. Which version of 2012 and 2014 are you using? i.e. 2012 Premier, 2014 Pro, 2014 Plus etc.

Quicken home and business 2012 > Reckon Accounts 2014 - Accounting

Hey Russell, thanks for that info - it clears things up for me.
Quicken (now Reckon Personal) which is part of the Personal Range (Plus and Home & Business) and the Business Range run different types of datafiles, a direct import of datafile is not possible. We do offer a migration service for moves between products, if you are interested in having a chat shoot us an email to >> reckonmigration@reckon.com - our team will contact you and they will discuss your options and the costs involved. Alternatively, you would need to start a fresh data file in Accounting. If you still require personal finance tracking it would be wise to keep using Home & Business and Accounting Parrallel - this would also allow you to keep historic data in the H&B data file.
