my quickbooks installation cd says i can use the installation code for up to 5 installations under multi-user environment. i have used the cd to install quickbooks on 5 computers and i soon will need to replace one of those computers because it's too old. my question is, can i transfer the quickbook installation from the computer that is being replaced onto the new computer i'm going to buy? if so, how do i do it?

    Based on past experience, just load it onto the new computer.  Then you are probably going to have ring to register the latest installation.  At that time, tell Reckon that this registration replaces one that was on an old computer that has been replaced.

    Hi Yu.  I agree with John. I have had to do the same thing a few years ago when replacing one of the 5 computers and loaded the software onto the new computer, then rang Reckon to register and informed Reckon at that time of the replacement computer.
