Quickbooks 2007/08 Not responding

My Quickbooks 2007/08 asks for my password and opens but then there is just the toolbar across the top and when I click on anything it just says the programme is not responding.  I have tried restarting my computer which is running Windows 8 and this has not helped.  Is there anything else I could try?

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Yes, older versions on newer technology can cause you headaches.  In some cases the older version will not install, and when they do all the functions may not be available.

These tips may not work 100% for everyone but they should get a high degree of functionality from your version.  However, the ultimate solution is to upgrade to the latest version which is compatible with the newer technology.
