Quicken personal australia 7.5 won't open data file

Computer had to be reformated and the 7.5 installer wouldn't install in the operating system. So copied the windows directory from ol installation and the quicken folder into the new operating system. The program starts and will open the sample files. It verifies the data files but won;t open them.

    Hey Jay, as sample files are working, it suggestions corruption of the datafile. Try to super verify the file. If that doesn't work you can try renaming the file. Alternatively, the only course of action is to restore a previous back up. As 7.5 is a very old version it might not be fully compatible with later operating systems. It is highly recommended to upgrade to a later version, so it is inline with OS compatibility. ^Mirko
