Quicken 2010 tax calculation

I have just reinstalled Quicken 2010 on my new computer which was upgraded from windows xp to windows 7. There is a problem with the tax calculations when manually entering a transaction. Any suggestions?

Could you specify the problem in a bit more detail and quote any error messages you get. Also, are you finding errors in other parts of the programme?

No error message comes up and I am unaware of any other problems in the program. When entering a new transaction in the register the amounts entered and the tax calculated based on the category and tax code are incorrect. The box is ticked for including tax. The only way of correcting this is to delete the tax code in the transaction, enter the amount again and re-enter the tax code. Thanks for your help.0
