Quicken accounts Premier 2013 has experienced a problem and must shut down. How do I fix this?

Quicken Accounts Premier 2013 starts with a pop up message "Quickbooks has experienced a problem and must shut down error 00000 00000" If I do not close the message I am able to use the software but if I close the message Quicken Accounts closes. If I restart the computer this sometimes fixes the problem but not always. My firewall is correctly set up so this is not the problem.

Please help.

    Hi John,

    Happy Holidays!

I am sorry to hear the difficulty you are having with your Reckon Accounts Premier 2013. Usually, failure to open up might be due to a too high of a security on your computer primarily of your Internet Explorer.

Try lowering down your Security for Internet Options from the Control Panel then open RA 2013 again. Otherwise, try temporarily disabling your security program then try again as well. If the latter works, place exceptions for RA 2013.

    Hope it helps!

    Kind Regards,

    Jamaiel

    Hi John,

First, let us greet you a Happy New Year!

With regards to your query, sorry to hear it is continually happening. Let us see if the issue is due to the company file or the program itself.

Close RA 2013 and from the Desktop icon, press and hold CTRL button and double-click to run RA 2013 again. This should go to "No Company Open". Open a different file from the one you are using or open the Sample Company and see if it does open.

If it does, try opening your own file again. If successful, restart the program and try again as per normal. However, if issue persist when opening any file, you may need to reinstall RA 2013 again.

Let us know if this has resolve the issue or otherwise.

    Kind Regards,

    Jamaiel
