Hi, We had a fatal crash of our accounts computer on the last business day of teh financial. We have dowloaded Reckon 2017, however I don't think the new computer recognises it and is asking for it to be activated. How do I do this? Message says I can only go into Reckon three more times!

You should be able to activate via the Internet provided you have your Customer ID & PIN?  Go to the File menu and choose Activate Reckon Accounts - it should ask you to connect to the Internet?

Thank you so much for your response. When attempting to Activate, once I get past the Privacy Policy the following error comes up:

There are no results for 

ProdFamily=QB&ProdCountry=AU&ProdLang=EN&ProdYear=2017&ProdType=Plus&ProdOS
=Windows8&ProdRelVer=R2&ProdSer=&ProdIKC=10167181010004&ProdBrowser=
embedded&ProdMedia=%1=%

2&&ProdReg=&IntuCustNum=ProddUDF=LongIKC=(then my licence number appears)

When I initially go in (before attempting activation) another error comes up which I can get past, which is "Unknown country code for ".

Hoping you can help. I was on hold for 40 minutes today to get assistance and have not received a response to my email...but I understand the timing is at its worst.

Sounds like the new computer hasnt been configured for Australia?  go to the control panel and the region settings and make sure you have the correct region, date, time, etc and the date format should be dd/mm/yyyy - then try to activate again?

Thank you again for the reply, however the computer has been set up for Australia. Region, date and time are all good.

Sounds like you might need to call Reckon and activate via phone - sorry!

Thanks Linda, I called reckon on Tuesday and was on hold for 40 minutes before hanging up. I then sent them an email to which I have not received a reply.
