Recently upgraded to accounts personal 2015 .
When I try to backup (to a local disc ) the machine hesitates for a while and finally brings up a screen headed "unexpected error" and asking whether I want to submut an error report (i have done so).
I have tried reinstalling - no impact on the error.
What furtger can I do?

Hi Bryan,

Thank you for contacting Reckon Community.
Would you mind to answer my few Question as a Part of Troubleshooting please
  • Is your Reckon Personal 2015 installed successfully ?
  • are you able to open your data file ?
  • If you are on your Data file and getting the Error while you do the Backup
then, Validate and Super Validate your Data file please then try to Do backup on your Desktop or Documents, not on External Device please
  • How to Validate and Super validate

To validate file please follow the below instructions.

    1. From the Quicken File menu, choose File Operations, and then choose Validate.
    2. Select the Quicken file which is currently open, and then click OK

If the above instructions does not work then try the below article as well.

How do I SUPER Validate my Quicken file?
