Reckon Accounts Desktop (Premier) - Leave opening balance

Hi guys,

We have switched from Xero to Reckon as at 1st July 2019.  I have done the majority of the company setup, however a bit stuck on some payroll items.  I need to enter the opening balances for holiday and personal leave accruals for employees as at this date.  It is currently asking me to enter hours available at the employee's start date, which isn't required, and I cannot change this date. 

Can someone please help me out? Am I missing an easy setting somewhere?

Hi Kelly


So none of your employees have any leave accrued & available???

If not, leave/enter their “Available as at ...” figures – under each applicable Leave tab - as 0.00


If they don’t accrue Leave (eg if they’re only Casual), ensure the “Hours accrued per ...” field for each Leave type is set to 0.00 also.
