Hi everyone,
We are currently experiencing issues with the ability to login to Reckon Accounts Hosted.

Our IT team is aware of this and are working to rectify this issue at the highest priority.

Hi everyone,
Our IT team have successfully implemented a fix to the issue impacting Reckon Accounts Hosted users today and access is now available.

*UPDATE*
2:17pm AEDT

Hello all An update to the Reckon Accounts Hosted issues. We are now back up and running and all users are able to log in and access the system.

We understand everyone’s frustration with the outage this morning, and if you suffered any inconvenience we apologise sincerely.

The issue was related to some middleware technology, which connects our users to the platform, which didn’t recognise the leap year and as such we have had to manually update each session host to resolve the problem.

I acknowledge some of the comments on the community today challenging how this could happen. Our team works very hard to monitor the system and to quality assure everything to maintain the best possible user experience. Sometimes in technology things happen that could not be foreseen, and the fact that one piece of our technology was not prepared for the leap year is enormously frustrating.

Please trust that our team is working on all components of our solution to ensure this kind of error never happens again.

I "reckon" it always happens when you have a serious deadline .. please hurry I have a submission due in 3 hours ....need those reports.

WE solely reply on Reckon for Production - Accounts - Sales so to be told at 9.17am this morning it would take 30mins - sounds like a BIG problem how many hours later - not happy its end of month and can't send out invoices A/R / A/P or check out customers sales orders - purchase orders etc.

Are we any closer to having an ETA yet Rav? Understand this is not your fault, but the updates on your end have started being few and far between... surely you have some kind of timeline on this you can share with us?

Is it possible to put up a link to download an desktop version of Reckon for those of us who have offline backup copies?
So will we be compensated for time lost and wasted wages for staff sitting around waiting? how about a discount on our subscription?

I was on the verge of using Xero and this has tipped me over the edge. We have used this system for years and never once had a rep call or any training help or advice. This is the last straw for me and I will be voting with my feet

We pay a monthly subscription for this service and understand these things happen, but come on seriously!!! What compensation will we be receiving for not being able to access this paid service for half day so far, if not more????

I've been waiting for 2 hours and this is my 1st comment. I think most of us have stuck by it because its good software or its too much trouble to convert to other cloud based software but, seriously I couldn't image that other cloud based services don't have similar problems. I think we need to look at which cloud based service has the better recovery time and the better public relations because Reckon definitely aren't living up to customer expectations.

Anyone like to start a class action for compensation?

I have wasted THOUSANDS on lost productive with this pile of crap.


I have now driven 800km for a sales trip, and not only are my staff sitting twiddling there thumbs, huge orders aren't going out, but most of all - I am sitting here unable to do ANYTHING because I can't access my customers sales data to make sales calls.

They can at least pay for my lost days accommodation and food.

Who doesn't have a redundant system in case of a leap year problem???

Why no email advising back online..     Been on for 30 minutes and no idea was back up online.   
Once again poor service on top of a very bad issue that should have been foreseen.
