Reckon Accounts Hosted Planned Maintenance - June 4

Hi everyone,

This is just a heads up to let you know Reckon Accounts Hosted will be undergoing scheduled maintenance this Saturday evening. 

Maintenance will be carried out between:

  • 10PM (AEST) and 11PM (AEST) on Saturday 4 June 2016

  • 12AM (NZST) and 1AM (NZST) on Sunday 5 June 2016

You will be unable to login to the Reckon Accounts Hosted service during this time.

We recommend that you logout of Reckon Accounts Hosted prior to the maintenance period occurring. Any users logged in at the start of the maintenance, will be logged out automatically.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

issues loggng into Reckon June 5th 5.30PM NZ time
I know Its a holiday weekend but hope you guys on support are working as need to use Reckon Hosted

A network related error or instance-specific err occurred while establishing  a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections (provider name Pipes Provider error 40 = Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

Has anyone else experienced problems connecting to the server this afternoon?  I got an äbort"option, dropped out, and cannot reconnect to Reckon Hosted

I am feeling a big case of cranky coming on! I am sitting in the middle of a sea of papers..... and no idea when I can continue....

me too - guess is after there weekend support so may have to wait till Tuesday being a holiday weekend - i so hope not

Well seeing we are here unable to move forward can I bounce a problem I have encountered on a file...

I do believe it is the way it was set up and now it has become my problem...

The GST details are not showing on the General Ledger under the "Tax Payable" account  - I am able to pull GST detailed reports - but I am unable to get a GL detailed report that is pulling through to the Balance Sheet...

Does anyone know how to fix this without having to redo the books?

UM maybe go to chart of accounts and run report from there and see if you can get what you need first, if you do then try some of the following. - Once we back online
Other thing are you using a memorised general ledger report - sometimes they get corrupted so if are maybe try running a new one from reports
Also check the report is not being run as a CASH report as needs to be Accrual and Net under preferences
I have had issues with running tax reports and have found above get info I need or resolve the unknown issue being resolved

Also verify and rebuild your datafile

I'm really sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this unplanned issue has caused this afternoon. The cause of the issue was of an infrastructure nature external to Reckon.

We are receiving reports of connectivity restoration, please try to log in as normal and let me know if you encounter any issues.
