I have been using Reckon for 15 years and have never had an issue importing bank transactions.  since installing Reckon Accounts Personal Plus 2019 i get an error message whenever i try and import QIF files from  Westpac.  I have tried different date formats (as per knowedge base) to no avail.  Any help out there?

    Hi Michael,

We believe Westpac have recently changed their QIF format. Are you exporting the QIF from Westpac AU or NZ?

Could you please open the QIF file in Notepad and scroll to the bottom and see if there is a whole blank part with no data in it? If so, delete all this blank part and save it.

    Then try importing again.

Please let me know how you go.

    Hi Michael,

Would you be able to confirm if at the end of your transactions, there is a blank area in the QIF file when viewing in Notepad?
