Reckon Cloud POS UPDATE (3 May 2018)

Hi everyone,
Our new Reckon Cloud POS solution has received an update which is now live. Check out the details of the update below:

Reckon Cloud POS users can now link their store with a Reckon Accredited Partner!
The option to link with a Partner to access the store OR just to track clients is available in this update.

To link a Reckon Cloud POS store with a Reckon Accredited Partner, you will need to perform the below steps;
1. Login to the Reckon Portal
2. Go to the Reckon Cloud POS dashboard
3. Next to the Store name, click on the menu icon and click Share with > Partner

4. Enter the Reckon Accredited Partner's username/email address and click SHARE

5. Once the Store is linked, you have the option of providing access to the Store itself as well. Simply choose the appropriate permission level from the dropdown menu.
  • Management & Cashier: The shared user ie. Accredited Partner can access both the management system and cash register(s).
  • Cashier Only: The person you share with ie. Accredited Partner can only access the cash register(s).
  • No Access: The Store will NOT be shared, only linked.

6. If you have provided an access level other than 'No Access', then further changes can be made if required from the screen presented below.

7. If you opt to REMOVE, it will remove both the link to the Partner AND access.
The option to remove access only is available by clicking EDIT > Change the permission level to 'No Access'. This retains the link but removes access. 

8. To check if the store is connected to an Accredited Partner simply click on the menu icon next to the Store name > Share with Partner. Any changes to permission level can then be made from the above screen.

There's a new Help menu that can be accessed from both Management System and Cash Register screens.

The item name field has been increased from 50 characters to 100 characters and also now allows special characters.

You can also view the item full name in the cash register rather than the truncated name.

Date of birth requirements have been removed for importing customers via CSV file.
