Am trying to open Reckon Enterprise from desktop icon. Appears to load and then comes up with message saying cannot locate Reckon Accounts Enterprise.msi file. I have searched on PC and it is not there. Eventually if I keep cancelling all the warning Reckon will load and my data file is there, but when I check my licence info it says my copy is no longer activated and will not let me activate it saying it cannot locate a required file

Hi Jo,

Sorry to hear you having difficulties.  I would start with repairing the installation.  You can do this by going to Control Panel, Programs and Features, Select Reckon Accounts and press Uninstall/Change, click Next, select Repair, and Next.  When finished try to open Reckon Accounts again.

If the problem persists repeat, by choose Remove instead of Repair.  After its removed reinstall.

And finally as a last resort if the others have failed, do what we call a clean uninstall and reinstall.  You can find the steps for this here: http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=331

I believe one of these should solve the problem.  Let me know how you go.

Regards,
Shane.
