Hello  Ifti
This is a big worry for us , how stable is RAH API NOW.?
We are doing a big development for a client , we hope by end of this month the API RAH is much improved or optimised.

Hi Chandra. Did you have any issues directly as it hasn't seemed to effect your app. In other words, you are not showing up in the error logs. Please advise.

Hey Mehrnoosh and Chandra,

This's Jerry from Reckon. We're currently undergoing RAH routing optimisation. Can you specify what endpoints you are having trouble with. We'll handle these issues soon as your concern is our first priority.

Cheers,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,

I'm using this end point https://api.reckon.com/RAH/v2/ to create customer, job, payment. I've checked that with all of them and have same issue. I've been working with Reckon RAH API for almost  2 years and i didn't change anything in my end (code,...).

Thanks

Hi Mehrnoosh,

We've been monitoring our API traffic and a lot of calls are passing through as I write.

Can you please send an email to apisupport@reckon.com to create a support ticket and we'll work with you to find out the root cause of it?

Chandra, are you having any issue?

Thanks

Ifti

Hi Ifti/Jerry,

sure, I'll send an email. I've just tried to test getting the sale receipts with Azure portal and I got the error response 500 Internal Server Error.

My message body is:

"Operation":"<?xml version=\"1.0\"?>
<?qbxml version=\"6.1\"?>
<QBXML>
<QBXMLMsgsRq onError=\"stopOnError\">
<SalesReceiptQueryRq>
<TxnDateRangeFilter>
<FromTxnDate>2019-03-10</FromTxnDate>
<ToTxnDate>2019-03-14</ToTxnDate>
</TxnDateRangeFilter>
</SalesReceiptQueryRq>
</QBXMLMsgsRq>
</QBXML>",
"UserName":"username",
"Password":"password",
"CountryVersion":"2018.R2.AU"
}
Headers are Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key and Authorization

Thanks

Hi All,

a quick update on my issue.

With the help of Reckon guys, we found my issue in Azure portal. it was missing a header (content type).  The portal is working fine. but My code still is not working.

Thanks
Hi Reckon Support. we are having a similar issue connecting from Aeroflo to Reckon. we are getting INTERNAL SERVER ERROR. started happening late last week. Aeroflow confirms the issue at your API. can you please advise on a solution and contact us on mottrepair@bigpond.com

I think Reckon did some upgrades/changes on the API last week.
I have two environments (test and production) and both are not working since last Thursday. I couldn't figure out what is wrong in my end as I didn't change my code for a long time and the integration was working fine. The Azure Portal is working but it seems the content type header is mandatory now. I never added this header before in Azure and it was fine.

I've added this header to my code but no luck yet.

Before adding this header Azure portal gave me 500 error.

Hi Sam. We have identified the issue at AroFlo's end. The upgrade enforced a parameter that it did not previously. This has only effected a very low % of developer partners. We have contacted the 3 that were effected and AroFlo have already addressed their code - champions !

We'll keep monitoring until the final app has made the code change.

Jason

Hi everyone,

The issue that some of third party applications were having has been resolved.

We will be getting in touch with them to ensure this issue doesn't happen anymore.

Thanks for your patience and apologies for any inconveniences caused.
