Reckon One-error saving invoice for this cashbook.

Reckon One- I receive this message "error saving invoice for this cashbook" when I am saving any information or receiving money. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Often this error is a temporary one and after logging off and logging back on it no longer appears.

Hi Joy,

The Reckon One team are looking into fixing the following error which occurs when performing a secondary save action to an existing invoice.

The reason why this particular error occurs is due to one or more single quote characters in any of the following invoice fields:
- reference code field
- line description field(s)
- notes field
- payment details field

This issue doesn't occur on the initial invoice save action for an invoice. It does occur when viewing an exisitng invoice & performing a secondary save action of that existing invoice, where the invoice contains one or more single quote characters in the four fields mentioned above.

This issue doesn't occur when using other special characters

For now, the work around is to remove any single quote characters & this should allow a secondary save action of the invoice.

This may or may not be the same issue that you are experiencing however hopefully this information provides you with a successful work around until the fix is released.
