Reckon Rental

Hi
I have just downloaded the trial version of Reckon Personal 2016.  I have been trialling a number of different products to decide which one to move to.  I am very interested in the Reckon Rental portion which is listed in the features and benefits of Personal 2016 (big part of the reason to trial this software).  But when I try to use the Reckon Rental part it keeps telling me that it is unable to locate Reckon Rental.
Please advise.
Thanks

    Welcome to the Community Lynne,

Try taking a look in your Temp Folder under your C drive eg.
    C:\temp\ReckonAccountsPersonal2016\Reckon Rental

Let me know how you get on

    Cheers
    Rav

Thanks Rav - all good.  Installed the Home Inventory as well as that doesn't work.  Something else I should do?  Cheer

    Hi Rav
I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it but still get the same error message "QHIM.exe has stopped working".  One of the links you sent had a download from "megaupload" (made me laugh!!).  Any other suggestions?  Cheers

    Hi there Lynne,

Is Home Inventory Manager appearing in the program list in Control Panel?
Control Panel > Programs & Features

Did you try installing using the .msi install file?
    C:\temp\ReckonAccountsPersonal2016\HAB\DISK1\Reckon Home Inventory Manager\installer

    Ok - FIXED IT!!
    Uninstalled and installed again...using

    1.
    C:\Temp\ReckonAccountsPersonal2016\HAB\DISK1\Reckon Home Inventory Manager\installer\qhinstaller.exe

    then....

    2.
    C:\Temp\ReckonAccountsPersonal2016\HAB\DISK1\Reckon Home Inventory Manager\installer\Home Inventory Manager.msi

    then...

    3.
Ran the "Repair" program in the Maintenance box.

    ALL GOOD!!
