Reckon Accounts Business 2014 failing to install on RDS

Hey guys,

I am trying to install Reckon Accounts Business Range 2014 on a Remote Desktop Server and it is continually failing.

It extracts successfully, runs the installer correctly.  I enter the product key, I choose the installation type I would like.
It advises me it is going to install Microsoft Runtime Library.
The installation of this gets roughly 1/3 of the way through, it disappears and an "Installation Interrupted" message comes up:

"Installation Interrupted
The installation was interrupted before Reckon Accounts could be installed.
Click Finish to exit the Installation Wizard.
To install Reckon Accounts at a later time, run the Installation Wizard again."

I have followed all FAQs/Threads I have been able to find which include:
Ensuring the AV is disabled/not running.
Performing a clean boot.
Ensuring all .Net frameworks are operating correctly.
Adding through "Install Application on Remote Desktop Server"

I cannot seem to locate any logs for the installer, and Event Logs are not reporting anything of interest.

Any advice/help greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to Reckon Community!

    I am not sure if you have seen the following thread, but usually with the "Installation Interrupted", you may need to follow the Reckon FAQ: Installation Interrupted when installing Accounts Business 2014

    Should issue persist, other things you can try:
    1. Restart the Server
    2. STOP and DISABLE the Services named QBCF Monitor Service/QuickBooks Database Server Manager and QuickBooksDBxx
    3. Try installing from the Control Panel
    4. Do a Clean Reinstallation following KB ID: 331

    Log on as local admin

    start, run, cmd
    change user /install

    start, run, services.msc

    stop print spooler. Take note of dependencies (these need to be stopped while installing)
    start print spooler

    install reckon.

    Restart.

    Have to do this every year on my RDS/Citrix servers.
