Since upgrading to ReckonAccounts Accounting 2013 I have had trouble with my reconcilations. I perform the rec and click the Reconcile Now button and I just get the turning ring while the program thinks, but nothing happens. I have to exit QBs entirely and then open the program again. Once reopened, the reconciliation has occurred, and I have to print previous rec report. Has anyone else had this problem? It is only since upgrading that this has occurred.

    Hi Lorraine,

This problem often results from your PDF Converter sharing a printer port with an older PDF converter or other device.

In your Devices and Printers, right-click your QuickBooks PDF Converter and set it to its own port.  You should also delete any older QuickBooks PDF converters that are no longer necessary.

Thanks John, you are a genius!  I followed the links and the instructions. Deleted the old QB Converter, deleted QBprint.qpb & WPR.ini files and then created a new port for the Converter V4. Problem solved ! Thank you very much. Regards, Lorraine
