Renewed account but won't update

I have renewed my Reckon Accounts 2017 Home and Business account, but it won't update and keeps telling me I need to renew my account.

Just be sure to reboot your machine after the renew process initially.  May be the cause.  This is an old issue and may still exist.   If true, then you'll possibly need to do one more activation process (automatic online).... but then shut down everything gracefully and reboot.  Then check if okay.  If not,  then best you come back to advise others that this is not the solution.
