In trying to submit the STP file to the ATO I am receiving the above message, I have checked everything that I can find and appears correct with th exception of the Entity name.

For GovConnect the name reads The Trustee for the XYZ Unit Trust,
For Reckon One however the name reads The Trustee For the XYZ Unit Trust

The difference between the two is the word "for" which in GovConnect is all lower case but in Reckon One it has a capital "F" instead.

I have tried innumerable times to change the name in Reckon One, which it seems I should be able to do, however each time I change it the change will not save.

I receive the following message "The Trustee for The Unit Trust has already been used, please choose a unique book name" .

If I have to have the names exactly the same in both GovConnect and Reckon One in order to lodge can anyone please advise me how to fix the problem, I am just about climbing the wall in frustration.

    Hi Ian,
The naming convention of the book name shouldn't be the cause of this. We had a case of this error come through the technical support team yesterday and it was a case of an employee phone number being input with a special character ie. it was added as +61 rather than just numbers.
In most cases, it will be something small like that which won't be immediately obvious.

Sorry to ask as I know you've mentioned you've checked things already but can you please give your data another check over.

I had the same problem and I called the support number and it turned out something wrong with the details of legal address. I put 'Vic' manually in the state option but I should use 'Victoria'. So check the book settings is important.
