Restoring custom Letter Templates after upgrade to Accounts Business 2014

This problem is an unfortunate consequence of the re-branding of our products from QuickBooks to Accounts Business and it is easily fixed.

When you launch Prepare Letters for the first time in 2014, Accounts Business creates the Reckon Accounts Letter Templates folder and copies in the default letters from the installation file.  Your customised templates are not copied.  

You will need to copy the contents of your previous version QuickBooks Letter Templates folder that contain your customised letters into the new 2014 Reckon Accounts Letter Templates folder.  

Just follow these easy steps:
  1. Close Accounts Business and browse to your previous version company file folder;
  2. Open the QuickBooks Letter Templates folder and copy its contents;
  3. Paste them to the Reckon Accounts Letter Template folder in your 2014 version  company file directory.  
That's it!  You will now have access to your customised letters.
