I am using the HTML 5 version of ReckonOne, having previously used the Silverlight version.
In the old design, when you went into the list view of Invoices, Bills or Payments there was always a Search field at the top - eg if I wanted to see when the last invoice for a particular customer was sent, I'd just type in the customer name and search and I'd have only 4 or 5 entries to look through.
In the new HTML 5 version, the search field is no longer there, which means I have to page through multiple pages to find the invoice I am after. Yes, I could use reports, run a report for that client, then backtrack to Invoices to enter a new invoice. But it was way more convenient to be able to do a quick search and then add a new one from the Invoices/Bills/Payments section.
Can you tell me why such a useful tool was removed?

The search is working for myself. Here is the process I use.
1. View a list screen (example: customer list)
2. Find a column that you want to search within & hover the mouse cursor over that column & click the down arrow to access the options popup
3. Within the options popup, the filter field is blank by default, from here you can type in what you want to search for & click the magnifying glass icon to perform a search for that text within the applicable column.
Can you elaborate in more detail regarding your specific scenario & issue. Are you saying the initial search field comes up empty or is it that the search returns empty (i.e. no results)?
