Can you see the printer in Windows? Can you print a test page? Have you checked the port which is assigned to the printer? What type of connection do you have?

Hi Cameron
POS talk directly to printers through a COM or LPT port, so the windows printing functions are not used at all, so the first step is to delete this as a windows printer.
You then need to install the Senor virtual port driver. You will find a good set of instructions and the Full instructions in the \Support\RSK folder of your CD. If you downloaded the product, you will probably still find it in the C:\temp\Support\RSK folder of your hard disk.
If you can't find this folder, send me an e-mail and I will send you a link via dropbox to download them.
Good luck!

Hi Graham
When I press the print button on the pos software the thermal printer will now print "SOMETHING" it does not resemble a receipt and it looks like it is in Chinese or Japanese.....

it prints the asian looking writing when I push the button on the pos to print a receipt .....I tried to print a test document on notepad, when I go in to see what's printing it says it is printing .....nothing about any errors....

Hi Cameron
Make sure you uninstall it as a window printer, then reboot computer for good measure. You shouldn't be able to print anything from any windows application including notepad. It will still work ok from POS as pos talks directly to it through the com port.
If you have added the USB-Serial port correctly, you should see it in device manager. Make sure the port number is between 1 and 8.
To test that the printer can print ok, turn it off, then hold down the paper feed button whilst you turn it on. It should start a test print. Turn printer off to stop.
If the printer is assigned correctly in pos, it should print "printer ready" to the printer when you start pos.
If you are still having problems, I can do a remote support session with you. Should only take 1/2 hour. Details are below.
