Set up What you have paid YTD then calculations are out

HI there,
when i set up the app it asked what you have paid YTD which i added.  My figures, although all correct when you go into the months seperately, it has added the amounts from YTD amount.    When i go into the app, its all correct however numbers dont compute due to this addition from above. Can anyone advise?

Hi Sarah,
Just to clarify, at setup the app will ask for any YTD balances and then you will send through individual pay info which will be added to that total YTD amount progressively.

When you say the balances are out, what are you comparing to? The ATO Business Portal or employee's MyGov account?

Which balance is incorrect?

Hi Rav,
I visited my accountant yesterday to clarify and on the ATO portal it says "Update Event" for July, Aug and Sept.
When i look at my pay runs, July, Aug and Sept says "adjustment submitted" these were all done on the 14th of Nov.  The Oct one which i also did on the same day shows "Pay run Submitted'
I apologise for this and just want to know if i somehow delete and resubmit?  It says Submitted to ATo 14/11 and Approved by ATO teh only difference is "adj submitted"

Hi there,
thanks so much for your time in getting back to me.
my gross pay is out by the amount that i had to type in for the YTD.  
when i go into pay summary the gross pay is out compared to what was reported and is showing on my reckon mobile app.  I have just added it up again and the pay summary is out.  IM guessing i have to somehow edit teh pay summary to delete what was originally reported?  ANy help is welcomed/.

Hi Sarah
As long as you have double checked the figures in the employees income statement in their MyGov, you will need to do a negative pay (by doing an adjustment with a negative).

Robyn, if i do the adjustment in the negative, will this affect my reporting with the ATO or this will report the correct figures on the app?
