Single Touch Payroll software ID query.

I have been preparing for STP, and have noticed that the software ID on the Reckon Portal is different to the software ID shown under Company Information in the Company file.

I have recorded the software ID generated in the Portal on the ATO Access Manager and it has allowed the addition of the second software ID number.

Should the software ID (which I cannot change) on the portal be the same as the Software ID recorded in the Reckon Accounts Hosted company file or does it not matter that there are two?

    Hi Mark,
    For Single Touch Payroll purposes, the only Software ID you need to register is the one found in the Company & Adviser section in GovConnect STP.

    The Software ID found within the Hosted company file was formerly used for BAS submissions using the legacy GovConnect service which is now decommissioned.
